baked crispy chicken nuggets

BAKED chicken nuggets.

i love the baking part. frying…i am not so good at… remember?

so the funny part of this meal/post…i wasn’t going to share this recipe since i didn’t make any fun, tasty, zesty sauce to go with the chicken nuggets.

i just served with ketchup. wahwa.

my hubby was a tad very disappointed. he loves his sauces. i should have known. i just got rushed and well..that is just how some dinners go. nights can get crazy, hectic people… so sorry i got lazy. i didn’t make a sauce…lol

hubby gave them a 7 BUT he said with a tasty sauce they could have scored a 9.

they scored a 7 so that means I share. i “talk” about it. i share my funny story. well i think it is funny.

so my thought is i will make these WITH a few tasty sauces and share again :-)

crispy baked chicken nuggets

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 3 tablespoons Asiago cheese
  • pinch sea salt

Directions

Heat the oven to 425 degrees.
In a shallow bowl add the panko bread crumbs, parsley, asiago cheese and salt. Place each chicken nugget into the crumb mixture making sure the chicken is well covered. Place on a baking sheet - i lined mine with aluminum foil for easier clean up.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until baked through.

yum, I love making healthy versions of chicken fingers…they are one of my weaknesses, paired with french fries you have an amazing (unhealthy) meal. lol

Wonderful looking chicken and definitely healthier than those store bought ones. Kids will gobble these ones up, thanks for sharing.

I’ve been meaning to make some baked chicken nuggets! I bought 6 pound of chicken breast at Costco and am in serious need of new ways to cook it!

Thanks,
Reba
